POSITION SUMMARY

Are you passionate about collaboration and community? Do you want to help strengthen partnerships and energize Grinnell’s vibrant campus and community life, then Grinnell College is looking for you. Grinnell College seeks a Post-Baccalaureate Community Partnerships Assistant to support and strengthen the College’s community engagement efforts. Reporting to the Director of Community and Government Relations, this position plays a key role in strengthening community partnerships, supporting campus and community programming, and advancing new initiatives in the Weingart Civic Innovation Pavilion at Renfrow Hall. Be part of a team that brings people together and supports programs that welcome the public to campus, foster new partnerships, and enrich the Grinnell experience for all.

 

This is a term position for 1 year with the option to renew for one additional year.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, logistics, promotion and execution of events with focus on community engagement in Renfrow Hall/Weingart Civic Innovation Pavilion
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input, track action items and support team goals
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables and deadlines
  • Maintain project documentation, gather and synthesize date for reports.
  • Work with internal and external partners to highlight stories and outcomes.
