Learn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.The Senior Director, Medical & Scientific Affairs Neurodegenerative Disease is responsible for setting the vision and strategic direction for the disease area and leading daily business operations support related to product development and clinical research, product quality, compliance, commercial/marketing activities and customer interactions. This senior role assists the Chief Medical Officer as the medical representative of Beckman to external partners and professional societies. This disease area is a key focus area for Beckman Coulter, providing the successful candidate an exciting opportunity to build and grow the disease area leadership, ultimately impacting patient outcomes. The Senior Director will partner as a thought leader and Beckman Coulter representative with senior external customers, bringing our technology, patient focus, and commitment message to the market.Neurodegenerative Diseases are a major focus for Beckman due to the leadership position the company wishes to take, leading the market in portfolio development and market positioning. As a newly developed therapeutic area, this is of highest visibility internally and will require a very high degree of internal stakeholder management and alignment. The Neurodegenerative Disease portfolio will focus on (but not limited to) the following clinical areas: Alzheimers Disease, Lewy Body Dementia, Frontotemporal Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, ALS, Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Parkinsons Disease.This position reports to the Chief Medical Officer and is part of the Medical & Scientific Affairs organization, a team of medical specialists dedicated to all medical aspects of safe and effective therapeutic areas. The Beckman Neurodegenerative test portfolio enables better patient outcomes for those afflicted with Neurodegenerative disease.This role may be fully remote, working remotely to cover a global business area. Beckman Coulter has a major site presence in South Florida, Southern California, Hebron Kentucky, and Minneapolis Minnesota, as well as major hubs in Europe and Asia.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
