Qualifications:

·         High school diploma/GED equivalent, bachelor’s degree in theatre is a plus.

·         Minimum 2-year experience performing in middle/high school or college groups.

·         Minimum 2-year experience instructing theatre including musicals.

·         Demonstrated success in developing students’ performance skills. 

·         Experience leading rehearsals and providing constructive & encouraging feedback.

·         Strong communication and leadership skills. 

·         Highly organized, reliable, and positive in outlook, inspiring others to exemplify those same traits.    

·         Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as all MHS staff are role models for MHS students.

·         Candidates must be willing to actively engage with students beyond the scope of their job responsibilities.
