ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Departmental Duties and Responsivities:

Specialist Specific Duties and Responsivities:
1. Responsible and accountable for departmental operational tasks and risk efforts for deposit and related activities.
2. Function as the primary liaison between the internal/external clients, 3rd party vendors, technical, and other areas throughout complex operational, compliance and regulatory requirements.
3. Support key merger and acquisition strategy for Deposit & Related Activities processes, applications, systems, and delivery.
4. Responsible for daily/ongoing oversight and maintenance, as required, for departmental procedures and processes, work flow data bases, documentation exceptions, compliance and regulatory requirements, overdraft and related monitoring, cash management and movement activities and other associated operational deposit requirements including wire processing.
5. Utilize expertise, internal and external business resources to resolve operational issues effectively, maintain project deadlines, and meet client needs.
6. Provide visibility and transparency into deposit and related activities work flows and reporting.
7. Adheres to policies and procedures.
8. Proactively communicate with internal partners to coordinate and drive agreement.
9. Demonstrate sound business judgment; know when to seek advice of Risk Management and/or Legal counsel.
10. Maintain strong and open partnerships with LOB, Sales, and other stakeholders to provide mutual feedback on business processes, internal relationships, organizational strengths and opportunities for improvement.
11. Proactively informs and/or engages leaders and others to communicate issues, risks, and opportunities to business.
12. Demonstrate professional communications and presentation skills, strong relationship management skills and ability to support multiple ongoing initiatives.
13. Ability to prioritize and manage numerous tasks quickly, accurately, and efficiently in a fast paced environment and under deadline pressure.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. 1 or more years in Operations, Deposit Services, Treasury Operations, Banking Operations, or other related industry experience.
2. Technical and analytical ability.
3. Cognitive reasoning and organizational skills.
4. Demonstrated ability to work effectively to prioritize, satisfy client needs and provide a best-in-class client experience.
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to be proactive and adapt messaging based on the audience.
6. Ability to manage and negotiate with clients and vendor and alliance relationships.
7. Solid interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships and leverage networks.
8. Advanced knowledge of standard/common/complex deposit products and introductory understanding and/or desire to understand Treasury products and complex client relationships.
9. High level knowledge of bank operations, risk and controls, and operational risk management methodologies.
10. Perform effectively under pressure in meeting deadlines.
11. Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
12. Diligent, flexible, and detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills.
13. Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, Internet, and MS Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:1. Minimum of 2 year degree/education in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering or other related field.
2. Project management, consulting or management certifications/experience.
3. Risk management experience.
