Job Description Summary

This is a recruitment for a short-term/temporary position

Provides support for the Continuing Education Program through assisting staff in material preparation, and student support services. May assist the program through marketing outreach to area school districts, community partners and agencies and other related duties as required.

Essential Functions & Qualifications
Required:
  • Aide I: With direct supervision can assist with specific program events. Must have a at least 3 months of related experience.
  • Aide II: With direct supervision, can assist with program events and specific program outreach. Must have at least 6 months of related experience.
  • Aide III: Under direct supervision, can assist with program events, outreach, and the application process. Must have at least 9 months of related experience.
  • Aide IV: Can work independently to help students with the registration/matriculation process and a variety of program outreach. Must have at least one year related experience.
  • Aide V: Can work independently to help students with the registration/ matriculation/assessment process, assist with a variety of program outreach, and student support services. Must have at least one year of related experience and one year working in an educational program.
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of Continuing Education students
Desirable:
  • Experience working with students and their families, faculty, and staff in an educational setting
