Pharmacy Delivery Driver

Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Delivery Driver, you will provide efficient and accurate prescription delivery service for pharmacy customers. You will also contribute to a service-centered pharmacy team by consistently building relationships with customers and exceeding their needs.

Job Description

  • Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
  • Experience Desired: Basic knowledge of map reading and understanding of general area
  • Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification or Licensing Required: State Issued Driver's License and Clean Driving Record
  • Lifting Requirement: Up to 40 pounds
  • Travel Required: Regional - Daily, More than 50%; on-call availability

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver prescriptions to pharmacy customers on a daily basis utilizing a provided company vehicle.
  • Follow all Giant Eagle pharmacy established delivery procedures.
  • Utilize the pharmacy computer system.
  • Adhere to all company, state and federal policies, laws and regulations including HIPAA.
  • Finalize all sales including delivery.
  • Ability to travel to various locations using navigation applications
  • Perform assigned duties of a pharmacy technician when not delivering prescriptions.
