Description
We invite applications for an Assistant Professor tenure-track position in the Management Area. We are looking for exceptional scholars with training in business and related disciplines, such as psychology and sociology, who want to work with an outstanding group of faculty members in a supportive environment. We welcome micro-, meso-, and macro-level OB candidates. We are particularly interested in applicants who use theory to empirically address important questions and problems related to organizations. Successful candidates will target or have published in top management journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, Management Science, Organization Science, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and the Journal of Applied Psychology.

Current faculty conduct research on a wide range of topics pertaining to the future of work, including entrepreneurship, collaboration, remote working, labor markets, algorithms, machine learning, emotions, negotiations, open science, and organizational culture (https://msb.georgetown.edu/faculty-research/management/).

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position is $150,000 - $190,000, which represents the full range of anticipated compensation for this position. Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
