What youll do:

• Summer Internship 2026 (May-Aug)
• Work closely and in coordination with the site Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Director & Industrial Hygiene/Occupation Health Supervisor to learn and understand the role of an EHS Specialist in a production setting.
• Working with the site IH/OH Supervisor, assist in updating the site IH programs as well as the development of the site risk assessments (4E-HC) and the annual sampling plan.
• Based on the site annual sampling plan, conduct IH monitoring to determine associates' occupational exposures.Document monitoring results, develop reports, communicate with Value Stream (production area) owners and associates, etc.
• Complete other IH or safety related projects or tasks as assigned by EHS Director or IH/OH supervisor

Who you are:

• Currently enrolled in a college-based program in occupational health and safety or other related field, seeking an internship opportunity.
• Ability to work independently once direction is provided and work in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment.
• Basic understanding of safety and IH principles and/or use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Excellent analytical skills, verbal and written communication
