Job Summary: The College of Health Science and Public Health invites applications for a full-time Lecturer, 9-month position, in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CMSD) to begin August 16, 2026. Lecturers must have at least an MA or MS in the area of speech-language pathology, communication sciences and disorders, audiology, or a related area, or an AuD. This individual also must have their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP or CCC-A) granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and a Washington State speech-language pathology (SLP) license or audiology license or be eligible for one. This individual will teach courses in both the undergraduate and graduate programs and teach clinical courses/conduct clinical supervision and may perform service-related activities and scholarly activities if appropriate (not required). Teaching: This individual will teach courses in both the undergraduate and graduate programs and teach clinical courses/supervision, mentor student research and may perform service-related activities and scholarly activities if appropriate (not required). The college and department prepare students from all populations and communities to help meet the growing market demand in the critical fields of health care and education. The college is home to several nationally accredited undergraduate and graduate programs with an increased focus on inter-professional education (IPE), and on increasing the diversity of the healthcare fields. As a premier college serving the educational needs of the health care practitioners, CHSPH includes nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, communication sciences and disorders, public health and health administration, wellness and movement sciences, dental hygiene, and Regional Initiatives in Dental Education (RIDE).
