RESEARCH ASST I (Student/Work Study)Job SummaryThe bacteria Streptococcus mutans is the main cause of dental caries, which impact billions of people worldwide. Students in Dr. Emily Lavering's lab will have the opportunity to work on a project studying S. mutans. Project options include searching for bacteriophage that could be used as preventative method for S. mutans infections, or studying aspects of the bacteria's biofilm. Responsibilities*
