Maintenance - Blakely, GA Maintenance - Blakely, GA This is a full-time, hourly W2 position.
We have immediate openings! Golden Peanut in Blakley GA is seeking a reliable Maintenance Tech that is willing to grow and advance with the company.
Schedule: Day Shift - with on call rotation. Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts when on call. Pay: $20.00 to $24.00 DOE

Some things you will do as a Maintenance Tech at Golden Peanut: Potential assignments may include, but are not limited to:
Installing and maintaining machinery and equipment
Operate hoists, lift trucks, hand tools and power tools
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures and pneumatic systems
Repair, rebuild, and maintain mechanical drive systems
Install material systems
Fabrication
Other duties and task as assigned
What we are looking for from you:
1 year minimum of industrial maintenance experience
1 year welding experience
Current valid driver’s license required
Able to meet physical requirements of the position including but not limited to prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Willing to work weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime if needed.
Previous welding, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical experience is preferred.
Working knowledge of 3-phase electrical.
Willing and able to take formal trade school courses as selected by management and to take such courses on a continuing basis as required.

Ability to understand and effectively communicate in English (verbal/written)
The ability to lift 50lbs
A high school diploma or GED
That you are at least 18 years of age or older
That you maintain excellent attendance (being on time, working when scheduled, staying until your shift ends)
Demonstrates the ability to be observant and to address concerns that may arise
Experience with operating a forklift is a plus (not required)
Mechanical Aptitude is required
The ability to work above ground level on grated flooring and climb stairs/ladders
