Summary As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery and handling raw materials to produce high-quality probiotic and enzyme products. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). You will play a key role in ensuring our products are made accurately and efficiently.
Essential Job Functions:
Operate Equipment – Safely run and monitor production machinery to ensure smooth operations.
Handle Materials – Weigh, count, document, and verify raw materials for production.
Follow Production Guidelines – Ensure all products meet batch records and specifications.
Maintain Cleanliness – Clean equipment and work areas according to SOPs to prevent contamination.
Recordkeeping – Accurately complete batch records, forms, and system data entries.
Safety & Compliance – Adhere to company safety rules, wear required PPE, and report any issues.
Assist with Equipment Maintenance – Learn basic troubleshooting, adjustments, and upkeep of machines.
Education
Minimum – High School Diploma
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
Experience in manufacturing, food production, or a similar environment is helpful but not required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
Comfortable working in a clean, safety-focused environment.
Team player with good communication skills.
Communication Skills – Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Must be able to write simple correspondence. Must be able to effectively present information to other employees.
Mathematical Skills – Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability – Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Must have the ability to handle problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.
