Project Development Associate We are currently seeking a Project Development Associate who will support the Managing Director of Corporate Affairs in coordinating project development activities, incentive programs, and pre-construction work for major capital investments. The Project Development & Strategic Investments Associate supports the execution of large-scale capital and construction projects. This role works collaboratively across internal teams and external partners to advance project planning, site selection, permitting, incentives, and due diligence efforts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Project Development & Coordination Assist with coordination of multi-workstream development and construction projects. Support site selection activities through research on infrastructure, labor, utilities, and regulatory factors. Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Due Diligence & Transaction Support Assist with commercial, legal, financial, and technical due diligence activities. Support site acquisition processes, including land agreements and documentation. Assist with contract review processes across legal, finance, and external partners. Incentives & Government Support Prepare materials for government incentive programs (grants, tax incentives, development agreements). Support coordination with economic development agencies and government entities. Track compliance requirements, deadlines, and reporting obligations. Permitting & Regulatory Assistance Coordinate permitting activities across federal, state, and local agencies. Assist with preparation, submission, and tracking of permit applications. Monitor permitting progress and escalate risks or delays. Stakeholder & Executive Support Coordinate communication across engineering, operations, legal, finance, and external consultants. Prepare briefing materials, summaries, and analyses for senior leadership. Key Deliverables Accurate tracking of incentives, milestones, and compliance requirements. Well-organized due diligence documentation. Completed briefing materials and coordination reports. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, government, public policy, real estate, or related field. 2–5 years of experience in project development, infrastructure, capital projects, real estate, or related fields. Experience supporting complex, multi-workstream projects. Familiarity with federal, state, and local incentives and compliance requirements. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Skills and Abilities Required: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities. Excellent communication and coordination abilities. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively across internal teams and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
