Director, Enterprise Strategy Delivery
As the Director of Enterprise Strategy Delivery, you'll lead the orchestration and acceleration of Best Buy's most critical strategic priorities, bringing concepts to reality through structured delivery plans, disciplined risk management, and executive-ready communication. You will create clarity in ambiguity, align cross-functional stakeholders and partners, and ensure outcomes are achieved at pace by translating enterprise strategy into scalable programs, governing progress, and resolving and/or elevating decisions when needed. You will provide thought leadership, in partnership with senior business leaders, to jointly define program objectives, tactics, and success measures. You will engage, inspire, and coach cross-functional team members through execution phases and partner closely with business leaders to make strong, informed, and timely decisions and resolve cross-program interdependencies and resource gaps.
This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. What you'll do
Strategy Delivery Leadership & Execution: Translate enterprise strategy into structured, outcome-driven programs with clear delivery plans. Align initiatives with strategic goals, timelines, and performance metrics. Influence strategic decisions, mitigate critical risks with clarity and urgency, identify and manage interdependencies, and adapts plans in dynamic environments.
Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Ability to break down complex problems into clear, actionable components that lead to business outcomes. Leverage business acumen to frame high-impact questions and identify the most critical levers for decision-making. Create clarity and drive results in ambiguity.
Strategic Communication & Business Enablement: Craft compelling narratives that connect strategy to execution and business outcomes. Influence partners and leaders to deliver with consistency and impact. Orchestrate engagement and communication rhythms that create and maintain alignment and momentum.
Organizational Capability Assessment and Delivery: Identify capability gaps and develop and deliver plans for addressing gaps to close them. Ensure enabling capabilities are in place to support strategy at scale.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Leadership: Build trust and alignment across diverse and relevant stakeholder groups, leading transformation impacts with emotional intelligence.
Basic qualifications
10 years of experience working in large corporate organizations
8 years of experience implementing transformational strategies
5 years of experience collaborating with and influencing senior level stakeholders
Strong communication skills, including written, oral, and presentation
Ability to drive progress and outcomes under ambiguous circumstances
Critical thinking and business acumen skills
Ability to use Microsoft Office programs
Preferred qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
Ability to influence partners and leaders with emotional intelligence and an enterprise mindset
Strong problem solving, synthesizing, and analytical skills
Ability to take risks, learn quickly, and challenge the status quo
Experience building and/or operating Retail Media Networks, Marketplaces, or Omnichannel Experiences
