Job Description
Director, Strategic Shared Services
As the Director of Strategic Shared Services, you'll join a newly formed enterprise strategy team designed to provide high-quality support across initiatives with large organizational impact. You'll operate with flexibility, delivering work in strategic development and analysis, business development, and strategic program delivery. You'll be responsible for working independently and proactively, involving the appropriate teams during each stage of the work.

This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you'll do
  • Conduct research and synthesize competitive intelligence, market trends and internal data to influence company decisions
  • Identify complex business challenges and design fit-for-purpose solutions aligned with strategic objectives
  • Build relationships across functions, communicate clearly and manage alignment with senior leaders
  • Apply broad business knowledge across functions, ensuring recommendations are financially sound and operationally feasible
  • Support the delivery of strategic initiatives, ensuring timelines and outcomes are met
Basic qualifications
  • 10 or more years of experience working with large corporate organizations
  • 5 or more years of supervisory or people leadership experience
  • 5 or more years of experience collaborating with and influencing senior-level stakeholders, including C-suite executives
Preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor's or MBA degree
  • 3 or more years of experience in a management consulting environment or strategic advisory role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • Experience in business process optimization and operational design
  • Ability to create and execute a strategic vision
