Food Service Attendant

From the kitchen to the patient bedside, this role brings the heart of hospitality to lifemaking every meal moment count! Whether assembling trays tailored to therapeutic diets, keeping floor stock fresh and accurate, powering through dish room duties, or ensuring storerooms, vending machines, and equipment shine, this position keeps the Food & Nutrition department running smoothly and safely. With a sharp eye for sanitation, a knack for organization, and a commitment to exceptional service, this multitalented team member helps fuel the hospital by delivering clean, timely, and delicious support to patients and staff alikeall while following top-tier standards, communicating with care teams, and creating a seamless experience from prep to plate.

Performs patient/ customer food service functions involving, food purchasing, storage, and preparation. Under direct supervision.

• Must beavailable to work weekends and holidaysas scheduled, based on operational and departmental requirements.

Required Qualification:

• Within 30 days of hire: National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority

Preferred Qualification:

• Food service experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
