Qualifications
To qualify for this position you must meet the following requirements. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have one full year of specialized experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-11) in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience includes performing the duties of Housing Manager for a lodging facility and is responsible for on-site management, planning, operation, and administrative coordination of a lodging program; managing the financial and operational processes involved with a housing program, developing long and short term budgets; scheduling staff schedules; creating and maintaining housing activity calendar and events; analyzing and resolving issues/problems of the program. AND Physical Requirements: Work is generally sedentary; however, it requires a fair amount of standing, walking, walking up and down steps, and bending. The Housing Manager may be required to approximately lift 25-50 lbs.
