Position Description The School of Architecture is seeking applications and nominations for the following faculty position: Architectural Design and Theory Faculty Tenure-track or Tenured. The position will be available starting July 1, 2026. The School will consider outstanding candidates to teach undergraduate and graduate architectural design studio courses. In addition to teaching design studios, candidates may have an opportunity to develop coursework in their secondary fields of expertise, especially those related to new traditional architecture and urbanism, architectural history, theory, and landscape architecture. Rank will be determined based upon experience. Responsibilities
Qualifications: Required: Applicants must have an M.ARCH, M.ADU, or PhD by the time of appointment, a record of excellence in research or practice/creative work, as appropriate for the candidate's rank and a commitment to teaching excellence. Preferred: Faculty with demonstrated capability or service to institutions like the ACSA, NAAB or AIA are encouraged to apply.
