Quality Control Supervisor (Weekends)
What Quality Control contributes to Cardinal Health Quality develops and implements quality policies, procedures, and processes to ensure products and services comply with regulatory standards and specifications. Quality Control is responsible for the analysis or inspection of materials, components, products or processes for compliance with specifications and standards.
Shift:
Saturday - Tuesday
Hours: 10 a.m. -8:30 p.m.
May be longer depending on needs of the business.
What is expected of you and others at this level
Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations or business staff
Administers and exercises policies and procedures
Ensures employees operate within guidelines
Decisions have a direct impact to work unit operations and customers
Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers, and peer groups at various management levels
Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead the quality control team, including inspectors and technicians.
Train and mentor quality control personnel in inspection protocols, techniques, and equipment usage.
Distribute responsibilities and assignments, monitor employee attendance and performance, and provide guidance and support.
Conduct performance reviews and manage the development of QC personnel.
Develop, implement, and maintain QC procedures, SOPs, and testing protocols.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards, including GMPs and ISO.
Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Oversee and monitor the inspection and testing of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
Ensure timely scheduling of raw material inspection, product inspection, auditing, and data collection.
Qualifications
4-8 years of experience, preferred
Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
Anticipated salary range:$90,600.00-$129,400.00
