Qualifications
GS-11 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Requires one full year of specialized experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-9) in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience includes but are not limited. Serves as the facility resource for providing data, reports and analysis to service line and facility leadership to facilitate the development of facility space. Facilitate lease status and management, including operational space redesigns and improvements. Reviews available space, equipment and resources to provide service lines with what they need to set up and maintain operations. Performs short term administrative tasks in connection with planning and implementation of building management through complex lease agreements. NOTE: Experience must be fully documented on your resume and must include job title, duties, month and year start/end dates AND hours worked per week. -OR- GS-11 SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED): Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. -OR- GS-11 COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED): Equivalent combinations of successfully completed Graduate education in excess of 2 years and specialized experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements. Physical Demands and Working Conditions: The work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required. There may be some walking, bending, climbing associated with on-site inspections, involving prolonged standing, standing and some activity on rough and uneven surfaces. Work may also require exposure to hazardous materials or conditions which require the wearing of personal protective equipment. There also may be an opportunity to carry items, e.g., files, and boxes containing deliverable supplies. The work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required.
