Job Summary

• The Clinic Coordinator provides high-level administrative support in a clinical setting. The Clinic Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and maintaining the calendar for clinical heads of one or more designated departments, prepares correspondence and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the department. Additionally, in the absence of a dedicated surgical scheduler, the Clinic Coordinator assumes this role.

Education

• 2 year / Associate's Degree (Preferred)
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Non Degree Program (Preferred)
• Vocational / Technical Degree (Preferred)

Certification / Licensure / Registration

• Not Applicable No Certification and Licensure Requirements required or preferred

Experience and Skills

• *2 - 4 years Administrative/clerical support for mid- to upper-level management, preferably in a healthcare setting (Required)
• *2 - 4 years Proven ability to use independent judgement and function autonomously (Required)
• 2 - 4 years Working knowledge of medical terminology (Preferred)
