Job SummaryThe Seo Lab has NIH-funded postdoctoral fellow positions to study molecular mechanisms of chronic inflammatory diseases (e.g., inflammatory bowel disease or metabolic disorders). We study questions at multiple levels using genetically modified mouse models, preclinical mouse models, primary organoids, single-cell RNA-seq, proteomics, lipidomics, metallomics, standard molecular biology/cell biology techniques, and pathology/imaging. The Seo Lab is also affiliated with the Neuroscience Graduate Program (NGP) at UM Medical School, providing a highly supportive and diverse research environment and excellent career development opportunities for postdoctoral fellows. Through independent project leadership and close mentoring, fellows strengthen skills in study design, execution, and manuscript/presentation development.
