Regular or Temporary: RegularLanguage Fluency: English (Required) Work Shift: 1st shift (United States of America)Please review the following job description:We are seeking a Manager to lead the design, implementation, and operationalization of a Service-Aware Organization (SAO)a foundational transformation that shifts the enterprise from system-centric operations to service-centric, policy-enforced, and outcome-driven execution.This role is accountable for translating strategic intent into codified engineering primitives, enabling deterministic change execution, service-aware operations, audit-ready governance, and AIOps readiness. Key Responsibilities: 1. Service-Aware Operating Model Implementation - Define and operationalize the Service Ownership Model - Establish clear accountability boundaries for services - Drive adoption of CSDM-aligned service modeling 2. Engineering Primitives & Control Plane - Define and implement engineering primitives: Service definition & ownership Dependency mapping Change authorization gates Observability standards Policy-as-code governance 3. Change Governance & Decision Velocity - Implement Permit-to-Design, Build, Deploy, Operate controls - Enforce policy-based validation gates - Establish deterministic change execution patterns 4. Observability & AIOps Enablement - Drive structured telemetry adoption - Enable event-to-service correlation - Improve signal quality and root cause analysis 5. Audit, Risk, and Compliance Integration - Embed continuous compliance into workflows - Ensure immutable audit trails and evidence - Align with NIST, FFIEC, and ISO standards 6. This position is office-centric 5 days a week in one of our Truist hub locations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES QUALIFICATIONS 2. Broad and in-depth knowledge of technology trends, competitive environment, regulatory requirements and trends, and IT strategies employed to continually meet the demands of clients and regulators Preferred Skills: - 8+ years in platform engineering, IT operations, or architecture - Experience in large-scale transformation initiatives - Strong knowledge of ITSM, CI/CD, observability, and cloud environments - Executive presence with engineering depth - Proved ability to drive clarity, accountability, and measurable outcomes - Ability to translate strategy into execution - Banking or financial services experience OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS Visual / Audio / Speaking Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone. Manual Dexterity / Keyboarding Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers. Availability Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
