Job Description
Warehouse Associate (Controlled Drugs) *Night Shift

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health:

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Work Schedule: Sundays 5:00pm to 1:30am, Monday to Thursday 4:00pm to 12:30pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Dispatch controlled and narcotics drugs.
  • Receipt of controlled and narcotics drugs.
  • Packaging of client orders.
  • Availability to work night shift

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Warehouse is required.
  • Must have good written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) is preferred.
  • Lift weight between 20 to 75 pounds

  • Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor.
  • Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor.
