OTR & Local Truck Drivers - Decatur, IL Local & Over The Road Truck Drivers - Decatur, IL This is a full-time, hourly position. $2,500.00 Sign On Bonus Available - $1,000.00 Referral Bonus Available Job Summary – The Class A tanker truck driver position requires a Class A CDL with no restrictions and a Tanker endorsement to start with Haz Mat endorsement required within 60 days of hire. The driver must be able to plan trips (breaks, fuel stops, customer appointments, weather, traffic & construction, city and rural driving conditions) and manage unforeseen circumstances. The driver will sit for several hours at a time while operating their equipment. Equipment can include but is not limited to semi truck, tank trailers, dry van, pneumatic, intermodal, and flat beds. Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading product according to company and customer instructions. Weekends, nights, and holidays will be required to make timely deliveries to our customers. Weekly mileages can and do fluctuate.
