Alternate Hybrid locations may be considered at Raritan, NJ (USA), West Chester, PA (USA), Warsaw, IN (USA), or Palm Beach Gardens, FL (USA).</div><div>Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes. </div><div>Job Overview: </div><div>This role provides global leadership for Warehouse Management System (WMS) strategy and operations across DePuy Synthes’ end‑to‑end supply chain network. The Director will define the long‑term WMS technology vision, lead global deployment and optimization initiatives, and ensure reliable, compliant, and scalable warehouse technology solutions that support business growth and operational excellence. This position plays a critical role in enabling service, efficiency, and resilience across a complex, regulated global supply chain environment and reports into the DePuy Synthes Technology organization. </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Key Responsibilities: </div><div><ul><li>Define and own the global WMS strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise IT and Supply Chain priorities. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Lead global WMS operations, including system stability, performance, upgrades, and continuous improvement across distribution centers and regions. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Commercial teams to deliver technology solutions that improve warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and service levels. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Oversee global WMS implementations, enhancements, and integrations, including vendor coordination and delivery governance. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Lead the application of AI, advanced analytics, and automation to modernize supply chain platforms, improving demand forecasting, planning accuracy, and end‑to‑end decision-making while driving efficient and resilient supply chain operations at scale. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ensure WMS solutions meet regulatory, quality, and compliance requirements applicable to medical device supply chains. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Manage external technology partners and service providers to deliver cost‑effective, high‑quality outcomes. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing global team of supply chain technology professionals. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Drive data‑driven decision‑making and standardization to improve global warehouse visibility and performance. </li></ul></div><div> </div></div><div><div>Qualifications: </div><div>Education: </div><div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree required in Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Master’s degree (MBA or MS) preferred. </li></ul></div><div>Experience and Skills:</div><div>Required: </div><div><ul><li>10-12 years of progressive experience in IT and/or Supply Chain Technology roles, with significant focus on Warehouse Management Systems. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Proven experience leading global WMS strategy, operations, and large‑scale implementations. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong leadership experience managing global, cross‑functional, and geographically dispersed teams. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to partner with senior business stakeholders and translate operational needs into technology solutions. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences). </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong vendor management, financial acumen, and program governance skills. </li></ul></div><div>Preferred: </div><div><ul><li>Experience supporting global distribution networks and complex warehouse automation environments. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Knowledge of SAP‑integrated WMS platforms and modern supply chain digital solutions. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Experience leading technology transformations in global organizations. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Demonstrated change leadership and organizational transformation capabilities. </li></ul></div><div>Other: </div><div><ul><li>Language: English required; additional languages a plus. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Travel: Up to 25% international and domestic travel. </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Certifications: Supply Chain, IT, or Program Management certifications preferred. </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>For more information on how we support the whole health of our employees throughout their wellness, career and life journey, please visit <a href="http://www.careers.jnj.com/" target="_blank">www.careers.jnj.com</a>.
