Our work depends on an Exercise Planner joining our team to help build and enable the readiness of our Nation's Army in the Pacific! MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:Plans, coordinates, and executes unit collective training at echelons ranging from Battalion to Echelons Above BrigadeAssists unit leadership in planning collective training that will meet their training objectives; identify any gaps (resource, training, equipment, etc.) and works with management team to ensure they are filled prior to execution of trainingServes in a mentorship or observer/controller role when requestedGather observations based on unit actions during the training event and provides input to unit After Actions Review (AARs)Maintains a comprehensive repository of relevant TTPsPlan, prepare and execute in accordance with the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC)May serve as a team leader, task leader, or people managerPerform other duties as requiredParticipates in special projects as required WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education: BS/BA Required, subject immaterial; Military Education Level IV highly preferred; former FA-57 preferred or combined relevant experienceRequired Experience: 10+ years of related work experience; Military training and experience at Brigade level is highly preferred; MTC experience preferredRequired Technical Skills:Expert Knowledge of the Joint Exercise Life CycleKnowledge of Wargaming Principles and execution is highly desiredExpert knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the development and delivery of training programsSecurity Clearance Level: SECRET clearance is required with ability to obtain a TS/SCIRequired Skills and Abilities:Superb communication skillsAdvance knowledge of virtual and constructive simulationsExperience with Joint Integration is highly desiredLocation: On Customer Site / moderate travel required to other customer sites throughout AoR GDIT IS YOUR PLACE: At GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do.Growth: AI-powered career tool that identifies career steps and learning opportunitiesSupport: An internal mobility team focused on helping you achieve your career goalsRewards: 401K with company matchCommunity: Award-winning culture of innovation and a military-friendly workplaceOWN YOUR OPPORTUNITYExplore a career at GDIT and youll find endless opportunities to grow alongside colleagues who share your ambition to deliver your best work. #GDITRecruiting #GDITArmy #DefenseOCONUS
