NCIS Systems Administrator | Shift Work | Active Top Secret clearance Transform technology into opportunity as a Systems Administrator with GDIT. You may choose one of the following shifts:Shift 1: Monday + Tuesday 6:00 pm - 2:30am; Friday - Sunday 6:00pm - 6:00am ESTShift 2: Wednesday + Thursday 6:00pm - 2:30am EST; Friday - Sunday 6:00am - 6:00pm EST ** Position is pending funding in the August / September 2026 timeframe. ** The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) is an organization of approximately 2,000 personnel of which 700 serve at HQ and the remaining staff serve at offices worldwide. NCIS is the DON component with primary responsibility for criminal investigation, law enforcement (LE), counter-terrorism (CT), counterintelligence (CI), and cyber matters. NCIS not only has primary responsibility for all criminal investigative, CI, CT, and cyber matters within the DON, but it also has exclusive investigative jurisdiction in non-combat matters involving actual, potential, or suspected criminal, terrorism, sabotage, espionage, and subversive activities. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Systems Administrator, the work youll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the IT Technology Development division within the NCIS ITD organization in Quantico, VA.Administer, manage, and maintain Windows servers 2016 and 2019Responsible for Windows Server patching in an operational environmentExperience with one or more of the following: Domain controllers, Active Directory, DNS servers, DHCP and Group Policy ObjectCreate, manage, and maintain accounts and groups in Active Directory, LDAPExperience with PowerShell scriptingMonitors system environments and resourcesAnalyze, troubleshoot, resolve, and documents problems with business applications and hardware on all enclavesExperience deploying DISA STIGs controls and system complianceOversees system recovery mechanismsExhibit the capability to resolve issues independentlyCoordinate, communicate, escalate required changes, and major issuesHelp diagnose and resolve computer-related problems as requested by employees and contractors, either in person or by using remote control softwareRespond to telephone calls and email requests for technical supportAccurately documents all work in ServiceNow WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED: Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT.
