AV- VTC Technician TS/SCI w/ POLY AV-VTC TECHNICIAN IV Make meaningful contributions that fuel critical outcomes for some of the most complex government, defense, and intelligence projects. Join GDIT as an AV-VTC Technician IV for a career where your growth is just as important as the mission you support.MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACTProvides technical audiovisual, multi-media, and video support services for meetings, conferences, training sessions, and other eventsSets up, installs, tests, operates, and maintains equipment for audio and video conferencing and teleconferencing meeting needs Performs audio visual system deployments including hardware and software configuration Conducts sound, visual, and performance quality checks on AV equipmentOperates sound and visual equipment during live eventsPerforms maintenance actions including inspections, service contracts, and upgradesMonitors and analyzes overall VTC equipment and system performance to ensure satisfactory operationTroubleshoots hardware, software, infrastructure and AV problemsInstalls video switching devices, media converters, wall monitors/televisions, and video control devices that support AV systemsProvides technical assistance and training to usersMay coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionalsMay serve as a team or task leadParticipates in special projects as requiredWHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEEDThe AV-VTC Technician IV must have: Education: Associates of Arts/Associates of Science Experience: 5+ years of related experience Certification: Security+CE and PWS 9.1 (1 of the following: A+, HDI-CSR, HDI-SCD, HDI-SCA, ITIL, Microsoft 365) Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Polygraph US citizenship required GDIT IS YOUR PLACEAt GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do.
