Your Role as a CT Radiographer

As aCT Radiographerat UMMS, youll play a crucial role indelivering high-quality diagnostic imaging,ensuringprecision, patient safety, andfast, accurate results. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operatinghigh-resolutionTomography / CT Imaging equipmentto producehigh quality diagnostic images
• Demonstrates clinical competence in Musculoskeletal, Neuro and Body
• Demonstrated ability tofix studiesin the private area in collaboration with EPIC
• Ensuringpatient safety, comfort & proper positioningprocedures
• Collaborating with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate diagnostic results
• Maintainingaccurate patient recordsand adhering to compliance standards

Qualifications

• Maryland Radiologic Technologist License(or eligibility)
• ARRT (CT) Certificationrequired
• BLS Certification
• Previous hospital or outpatient imaging experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and apassion for patient care & teamwork
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy preferred
