Qualifications:

• High School Diploma with percussion experience required.

• Bachelor’s degree in music (Percussion specialist) preferred.

• Strong marching band /drum corps experience preferred.

• Two or more years’ teaching experience preferred.

• Ability to interact with students of different ages and skill level in a positive and professional manner.

• Must exhibit a commitment to high student achievement and support for all students in a diverse, multicultural environment.

• Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all MHS staff are role models for MHS students.

• MHS desires candidates who are "all in" and are interested in actively engaging with students beyond the scope of their job responsibilities.
