MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Systems Administrator Senior, the work youll do at GDIT directly supports the mission of the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM).Perform and lead activities related to system administration.Manage domains, audit user permissions across platforms, and enforce compliance with regulations and policies.Develop disaster recovery strategies and provide technical support to users.Install, maintain, configure, and ensure the integrity of computer software and operating systems.Implement OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance.Administer desktop and server systems connected to local and wide-area networks, including account monitoring, security, OS installation, and related functions.Provide daytoday support, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution.Support status communications and escalations to agency management and customers.Manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install/load OS and application software, and resolve hardware/software issues across systems and infrastructure components.Integrate new technologies into existing systems, including transition and migration of corporate systems.WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT.
