The Buyer Planner is responsible for managing Manufacturing Planning, on time delivery to customers, and Kanban ordering process, this role also incorporates supplier communications, negotiation, document preparation, records management, financial administration, scheduling, inventory management, and general problem solving. The successful candidate will be a key team member in developing standard processes andsupportongoing manufacturing operations.

This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is part of the Manufacturing team, located in San Jose and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Apply knowledge ofInternationalprocurement & shipping (total cost model), byworkingclosely with Procurementand GlobalPlanningTeams,to assure material availability andprioritizationfor customers.
• Plan inventory levels, locations, and execute all forecasting and planning programsby analyzing manufacturing capacity; determine when items are built.
• Be a champion forthe materialprocesses. Promote problem solving aroundkey deliverablesthrough Daily Management, work to implement effective countermeasures, and provide feedback to affected parties onchallenges.
• This position will work closely with all other material team members in the plant to ensure effective tactical material execution along with On Time Delivery to the end customer. Will be responsibleforcommunicatingplans, challenges, and opportunitiesacross the organizationwhileworking effectively to problem solve solutions.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelors degree with 0-2 years' experience planning and controlling inventory, plus working with supply chain and inventory management systems (i.e.,Advanced Excel skills,Kanban, Oracle, or similar inventory system).
• Excellent organizational skillsand communicationthrough multiple sites, departments, and organizational leadership levels.
• Detail oriented and focused on delivering value to the factory.
• Strong analytical skills, initiative, judgment, and problem-solving ability,while drivingacomplex supply chain and inventory management system.

The hourly range for this role is $45.67 - $50.48 per hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
