Cloud Project Manager
Oversee missiondriven technology initiatives for our federal customers as a Project Manager. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Project Manager, the work youll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our federal government customer. You will play a key role in supporting a multicloud technology transformation that strengthens the customers ability to deliver secure, modern, and efficient digital services.Develop and maintain project scope, work plans, and timelines, ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder expectations, and regulatory complianceSupport daytoday project coordination, task tracking, and schedule management across multicloud modernization workstreamsCoordinate between technical teams (cloud architects, DevOps, network, security, data engineering), business stakeholders, and clients to ensure seamless integration of cloud platforms Drive the delivery of highquality project documentation, risk and issue management, and continuous improvement practices to help the team address challenges quickly and effectivelyMonitor deliverables, conduct reviews, and use feedback to improve processes and outcomesUtilize project management tools, cloud modernization concepts, and standard PM methodologies to support consistent, transparent project executionWHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your project management expertise and motivation for innovation to GDIT. The Project/Task Manager must have:Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, IT or Project ManagementCertifications: PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) required, Cloud platform specific certifications preferred (AWS, Azure, Google or Oracle).Experience: 5+ years of related experienceTechnical skills: Familiarity with cloud transformation efforts, IT modernization concepts, and standard project management toolsSecurity clearance level: Public Trust (or ability to obtain)Timeline: This is a contingent position expected to start in late summer of 2026.Work will be remote, with some travel.GDIT IS YOUR PLACE At GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do.
