Systems Administrator Sr - TS/SCI w/Polygraph
Youll apply the latest technology and provide operational support to deliver actionable intelligence for the Intelligence Community. Our work depends on the Systems Administrator Senior joining our team to lead a mission critical team that supports the deployment of systems and capabilities centered on our comprehensive motion imagery software suite. The selected Systems Administrator Senior will work alongside various teams and focus on ensuring the mission is met while upgrading to cutting-edge technologies in full motion video (FMV) of the programs technical vision. HOW SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Maintains an organization's computer systems' workflows and is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, including fixing network issues along with updating equipment and softwareDevelops advanced technical solutions for the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architecturesTroubleshoots highly complex system hardware and software issuesDevelops implementation plans for software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packagesMonitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levelsEnsures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutionsLeads efforts to ensure data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups and database archive operationsConducts advanced hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelinesDevelops performance and security plans for computers that meet the needs of network users.Evaluates existing systems and plans long-term strategies.Support analysts performing Full Motion Video TCPED and various phases of exploitation.Dashboard creation and analytic monitoring using either Splunk or Elastic Stack.Work with the customers network engineering group, as needed, to resolve any networking or firewall issue.Work with the GDIT systems engineering group, as needed, to resolve any system issue.Support sandboxed site operations (warehouse) by verifying OSes have patch updates applied and system backups are working, etc.Become an expert in understanding daily operations, networks, and systems.Develops training materials for end users on the proper use of hardware and software.Report information through weekly site communications group meetings, weekly status reports, and monthly logs to team members and management.Support GDIT factory reach back helpdesk in solving daily user issues.
