Coordinator, Apprenticeship Partnerships Skilled Trades - Part Time

Class Description

The purpose of this class is to perform an advanced level of administrative duties for the coordination of Continuing Education’s Apprenticeship Partnerships for Skilled Trades, with a focus on scheduling, documentation, compliance, and collaborating with adjunct faculty.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.  Three (3) years of experience coordinating/supporting projects/programs and related administrative duties required.  Experience coordinating/supporting training programs in a higher education setting preferred. Work experience with work-based learning programs preferred. 


This position requires travel to Dundalk & Catonsville campuses

Class Specific Essential Duties

  1. Plan, schedule, and coordinate Apprenticeship Partnerships for Skilled Trades for the College. 
  2. Develop relationships with employers to understand local workforce needs to develop programming .
  3. Manage assigned Apprenticeship Partnerships for Skilled Trades processes with existing and potential training customers
  4. Develop new courses and course series (including meeting accreditation and/or certification standards). 
  5. Recruit, select, train and work closely with adjunct faculty and instructors. 
  6. Manage program resources efficiently and economically
  7. Identify access and analyze program data in the college’s enterprise system
  8. Provide superior customer service and solutions to problems for customers, students and adjunct faculty.
  9. Develop and maintain partnerships with all relevant stakeholders.
  10. Represent and promote the college at professional and business events.
