Our work depends on a software developer joining our team to develop front-end web application functionality using Angular, Javascript, CSS, and HTML technologies that enhance the investigative capabilities against fraud, waste, and abuse within CPI.HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:Work with an interdisciplinary team and will be responsible for coding and unit testing interactive and dynamic user-interface solutionsResearches, designs, develops, tests, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applicationsAssists with all phases of the software development lifecycleAssists with analyzing user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needsAssists with creating a variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an applicationPerforms software updates, refinement, testing, and debuggingPrepares reports on software project specifications, activities, or statusAssists with the documentation of software or system for future maintenance and updates WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related fieldRequired Experience: 1+ years of experienceRequired Technical Skills: Experience or knowledge of Angular and Javascript; Experience with HTML, CSS, GitHub and/or Node.jsSecurity Clearance Level: None needed, however must have the ability to obtain Public TrustRequired Skills and Abilities: Experience in AWS, Jira, Confluence; Familiarity with large, complex data sources using PostgreSQL or SQL; Agile or SAFe experienceAttributes for Success: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Problem-solving mindset; Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with customers and internal cross-functional teams; Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at the same time; Ability to work independently; Self-motivated, well-organized and strict attention to details; Ability to understand and manage customer expectations and software implementation methodologyPreferred Skills:Experience in Spring Boot, ActiveMQ; Experience with data migration and/or maintenance activity as associated with the data sources for the application; Back-end development; Experience supporting CMS and the Center for Program IntegrityLocation: Remote 100%Working Hours: 40 hours per week, available within the core hours of Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm ESTResidency Requirement: Applicants shall have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years prior to submitting an application for a Federal ID CardWork visa sponsorship will not be considered for this role GDIT IS YOUR PLACE:401K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsCutting-edge technology you can learn fromRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays#GDITFedHealth#GDITHealthSystems
