Job Description
Assistant or Associate Professor, B Cell Immunology
The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is seeking a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor to establish an independent and collaborative research program focused on basic B cell immunology and B cell-mediated prevention and control of infectious diseases. The successful candidate will have recognized experience in the conduct of innovative research and a strong desire to accelerate discoveries that can transform approaches to prevention, treatment and cure of human infectious diseases of public health importance such as HIV, respiratory infections, and others.  Candidates will have a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD, and would preferably have a lab-based research program but those with hybrid computational programs would also be welcomed. Primary appointment will be in the Fred Hutch Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division (VIDD).

VIDD faculty conduct translational human immunology research including clinical trials relating to HIV, TB, respiratory viruses, and herpes viruses. VIDD provides opportunities for human immunology discovery research related to known and emerging pathogens. Faculty are expected to perform their primary activities on-site at Fred Hutch.
