Quality System Supp. Tech-2nd or 3rd Shift: Airedale-Lexington Position Description The Quality System Support Technician will help to ensure that non-conforming products do not continue through the production process and are not distributed to customers. Key Responsibilities · Conduct routine quality inspections throughout production, including in-process and final inspections. · Perform equipment calibrations and perform workstation audits. · Create and maintain quality control documents and reports · Identify and troubleshoot quality issues and recommend solutions · Collaborate with production team to ensure quality standards are met · Other tasks assigned by management Required Education & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required, associate degree in related field preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience working within the Manufacturing industry or related experience. Ability to read technical drawings Ability to use a variety of precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers Attention to detail Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities · Knowledge of quality control process preferred. · Good computer skills in usage of MS Office Suite - Microsoft word / Excel / PowerPoint · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Physical Requirements · Frequent walking and standing. · Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. · Ability to work in industrial environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and production conditions.
