Job Description

Newscast Director
WSET is looking for a Newscast Director.Responsibilities:Perform any production duties as assigned including:<ul><li>Direct and TD any assigned newscasts and special productions using Ross Overdrive</li><li>Maintain studio and control room</li><li>Studio floor manager</li><li>Operation of robotic cameras</li><li>Teleprompter operator</li><li>Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned</li><li>This is a morning shift, Monday through Friday 4am - 1pm.  But you must also be willing to work holidays, nights, and weekends as needed for fill in</li></ul> Requirements:<ul><li>Experience directing newscasts</li><li>Knowledge of production standards and equipment</li><li>Ability to clearly give direction to crew while under pressure</li><li>Ability to read and write, college degree preferred</li><li>Must be able to lift & position equipment of up to 40 pounds </li></ul> The base hourly compensation range for this role is $17.79 to $18.89 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
