We are searching for the best talent for Robotics Controls & Autonomy Interns within Robotics R&D. Purpose: This internship is based in Santa Clara, California and offers a unique opportunity for students passionate about electrical engineering design, development, and integration into medical robotics. Robotics Controls & Autonomy interns will work alongside other engineering domains such as mechanical, mechatronics, controls, software, and clinical engineering. This will support the prototyping, development, test, and production of surgical robotic platforms that will improve patient outcomes worldwide. The Robotics Controls & Autonomy Intern will join the wider Robotics & Controls team. We are a group of highly motivated roboticists working on development of algorithms and production level software. We work in a variety of exciting robotic functions including, but not limited to, AI and automation, kinematic and dynamic analysis, motion generation, control algorithms, system response characterization, performance and detailed software development. You will be responsible for:
