My name is Alexis but most (even teachers) call me Lexi. I like to think she's my alter ego giving me an excuse to do something utterly ridiculous. Alexis is more the voice of reason...like telling me to slow down when i'm driving before i get a fat ticket. Im a black girl who attended a predominately white school but i will ALWAYs rep it to the fullest. It forced me to acclimate to different surroundings and to be more accepting of people different than myself, but that doesnt mean i talk like the Valley Girl and i DONT let people trample all over me. To know me is to love me, meaning if you dont know me, you probably don't like me because when you first see me (ill admit) i can look a lil stuck up...which after years of really chewing on this( why people judge) i finally came to a point in my life to where it doesn't bother me anymore...all i ask is that before you judge me and make the often preset notions people tend to make you get to know me first and if your're not impressed..well..such is life i suppose.
anyhoo on to a less serious subject...i looooooooooove i mean really like, am obsessed(?) with, and absolutely cant get enough of laughing (helps keep the abs in shape) i mean did you know that 3 mins of laughing is equal to 20 mins of jogging? which is all the more reason to do it! i mean it makes life so much less stressful. I love reading and yes, i have read the Twilight Saga, Harry Potter Series, and countless others...it provides me with an escape from the ever present and harsh reality even just for a moment..or chapter. Im the Editor-In-Chief of my high school newspaper (FIRST black WOMAN Edtior...haha yea) Writing is my high. Point. Blank. I run track, have since phreshman (haha) yr and im pretty good at it. These unnecessarily long legs come in handy sometimes. I run hurdles (whoo!) and i've won awards for my talent...blah blah blah...i jus like doing silly things that could probably get me in trouble and seeing how far i can go until i do. o and man am i a sucker for love, gimme a boy who can make me laugh (preferably with dimples) and got some kinda sense... ill love you forever. sooo you know a teeny smidgen of my life and if you ever wanna know more...im an open book (sometimes TOO open) jus ask...

Current Whereabouts:
I am currently in to graduating high school....i've paid my dues and im over the high school scene....time to start something completely and totally new and see where i end up.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
Im livin my life to the fullest. i was thinking of doing something along the lines of Entertainment Tonight but i dont know exactly what i want to do, but i love talking to random people and hearing peoples crazy stories...if you listen you learn A LOT.
