I am a walking miracle! God has a special job for me because I survived lupus. Systemic lupus Erythematosus attacked my central nervous system, kidney, and heart. I was confined to a wheel chair twice - I had to learn to walk, talk and eat again. My mother was told if I survived the last flare up from lupus I would be mildly retarded, but I was the first in my family to graduate from college.
As Founder of Sandy's Land my goal is to help little ones over come their personal challenges through books, art (edutainment), inspiration (power phrase attire) and fun.
My first children's book entitled, "Imani Has The Most Exciting Dream!" is to empower and inspire children with the message of Hope, Love and Faith. The purpose is to build a child's self esteem with 3 key tools: increase vocabulary, introduce scripture and include daily affirmations.
I love reading inspirational self help books, Networking/connecting with authors and entrepreneurs, entertaining children via Sandy's Land Art Parties which include FACE PAINTING, Kick Boxing Class, praise dancing at home when I need some up lifting personally, quality time with my family, attending the ACW meetings with Pam Perry, Venus & others and watching a good movie while eating some good popcorn.
As Founder of SHE'S Empowered (Sisters Helping Encourage Sisters) my mission is to help women live their DREAMS despite their personal circumstance. I enjoying lifting women up - mind, body and spirit!
