The Crockett Group, LLC is a consulting firm performing diverse activities in business that include development, financing, technical assistance services, grant writing and over-sight. Services in nonprofit and private sectors, partnering with national and international organizations creating and managing projects and program for social change here in the US and abroad. This includes a strong emphasis in community empowerment through grassroots’ efforts and academia. I carry forward the belief through the organization by having vested in partnerships that are committed to social change. Furthermore, I been and continue to be very active in local community efforts in my city; for example, I was founder of our Community Food Coop. This coop fed families fresh food items for a third of the grocery prices over two weeks intervals. I also believe in communication as co-founder and former editor and writer for our community Newsletter. I strive to assist in community organizing for causes that strengthen neighborhoods and the people of those neighborhoods. I am a successful leader a self-starter, able to interact effectively with others, to persuade, negotiate and make change, while given into actively listening. I am a natural multi-tasker and can handle difficult situations. I am capable to professionally and effectively deliver presentations to small or large groups.

Claim To Fame:

Currently giving mission and service in a peri-urban area of Johannesburg, South Africa. Skill development is very low there, unemployment is 44%. Our charge is in building the Wilberforce Community College into a school of excellence, what it is suppose to be. The people are hungry for education, improvement, greater accessibility. I along with Dr. Crockett my spouse are providing technical assistance, inserting processes and procedures that will allow the institution to sustain. This job is not easy, however it is fulfilling and necessary. Africas' struggle is ours too.
