Gabrielle David is the executive director of The Intercultural Alliance of Artists & Scholars, Inc. (IAAS), a NY-based nonprofit organization that supports multicultural literature and literacy. She is also executive producer and co-host of phatLiterature, A Literary TV Program. For the past 20 years, David worked as a Supervisor for word processing/desktop publishing departments at law firms in New York City, while creating literary/literacy projects in her community. She is hoping to return to school (New School University) to obtain her Masters in Media Communications. In her spare time, she is a rabble rouser and posts regularly on her blog, RABBLE ROUSER'S FORUM (http://rabblerouserforum.blogspot.com/).

Do you think our education and professional experience would be best served in helping our communities as opposed to working in the private sector?
Current Whereabouts:
Working on my blog, special projects, trying to find funding for my nonprofit, The Intercultural Alliance of Artists & Scholars that promotes multicultural literature and literacy.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
To work in media, preferably for a nonprofit entity.
