Team J music group was established May 1, 2008 by Turh'an B. Jamison, better known as R&B entertainer "JAMISON", in Atlanta, GA. This Detroit city native, along with a team of multi-talented and ambitiously motivated individuals, started the movement that has become the bend in artistic entertainment to date. With the versatility of the company’s image and the equally expanding nature of the brand, Team J is on the path of great success.

Inspired by such success of often commented artist/CEO's (Sean "Diddy" Combs, Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter, Jermaine "JD" Dupri) he sought after the same goals; Jamison comments, "it wasn't looking to good for a label to sign me directly" he suggests "you might get a check, but you might just get a nice shelf spot to match" solely determined to get out his vision for music, image, and lifestyle the idea for creating his own imprint was "a no brainer" he admits.

The future of Team J music group relies on a short roster of multi-talented artist/songwriters/and musicians, in addition to strong affiliations with other movements, the span from New York to Miami of other artist, producers, promoters, and executives. With the release of the first project The Jamison Experience in 2007 gave listeners inspirational music which took you on a journey through the life and times of Jamison. Later releasing the widely proclaimed The R.E.A.L. Experience Vol. 1 in 2008 the first R&B venture produced by a joint collaboration between Team J and Studio Junkies (NYC) to launch the image and brand TJMG.

At present, Team J has partnered with A&H Records to launch the brand (TJMG) to a world-wide level with the release of the strongly anticipated single "RYDA" which explains the definition of an ideal companion for the flagship artist of the imprint. Due out this spring, with an EP to follow, the summers most anticipated album entitled ...I Feel. The short compilation illustrates a glimpse in the life and times of the young singer/songwriter/musician/and CEO.
