Hey Jim, Yes we needed a change from his policies. I still can't figure out why the mayor does not want to actually involve anyone who has a background in education involved in improving NYC schools. Kids are not widgets, It's not a factory. Turning the public schools into charter schools run by for profit corporations is not the answer. I read a very good article by Diane Ravitch that I posted on FB and Twitter about the movie, Waiting for Superman. It is insightful and long, but on point!
