Rachelle Akuffo is a multimedia reporter, anchor and producer and with expertise in business, finance, law (criminal, securities & corporate), geopolitics, national news, global news and social media. Rachelle explains the complexities of finance with authority because her first job in front of a camera was for a Swiss bank that created a television network to cover foreign exchange trading. Nuances in legal cases don�t escape Rachelle because she studied law.

She understands the social media habits of a �Millennial� (18-34 year old), because she is one. Digital Hollywood 2011 spotlighted her report, �CBC Would March on the White House if not for Obama� and as OMN's chief political correspondent, she obtained exclusive interviews with several 2012 presidential hopefuls including Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Michele Bachmann.

She brings depth to her coverage of an �Arab Spring� or a Japanese tsunami because she is a citizen of the world, having lived and worked as an expatriate in several foreign countries including England, Switzerland, Latvia and the U.S. She was crowned �Miss Ghana International� in 2005�yet another real world experience that she adapted to her sparkling work in the media. Rachelle co-hosted a makeover show, �I Love My Look�; and was one of Clinique�s Insider Club online product reviewers for 2012.

Rachelle also has an infectious sense of humor that delights her colleagues and audiences alike. Rachelle�s global experience makes her a great addition to China Central Television (CCTV) - the state television station of the People's Republic of China.
