• Led a team of three supervisors, 200 full-time associates, and over 80 temps responsible for creating the critical processes required for successful planning and execution of Small and Large heavy- duty parts transportation to 270 locations, 490 brands, 2150 suppliers, and 100k customers throughout the Southeastern region. Implemented continuous SMART MOVE in the logistical network within three months of implementation; the error rate fell below 7 percent, and the order-picking team achieved its goal for the first time.
• Worked cross-functionally with several internal teams across the Supply Chain ecosystem, including Engineering, Network Design, Field Operations, Carrier Procurement/Management, Operations Research, and Finance.
• Cultivated relationships with over 100 fleet carriers, including UPS, Old Dominion, XPO Logistics, Schneider National, AAA Cooper Transportation, and FEDEX, by reviewing old contracts and implementing a new contractor model, which generated outstanding cost ratio savings of $410K and increased on-time pick-up and delivery while decreasing damages and losses by 9%.
