I choose to attend an HBCU because I believe it would help me stay grounded in what I believe in and what I am capable of doing. I also believe being around young talented and smart people who are just like me and doing our absolute best to make a difference while achieving our desire to excel in this world.

Personally I think it would teach me confidence on how to thrive in the real world and the much needed space to find myself academically and socially. Also still keeping me with a family atmosphere and traditional values.

Professionally I think it would teach me how to get involved and to take advantage of opportunities that may come my way. How to carry myself in an interview, be professional and successful. Also how to work towards my future goals and not give up.
